Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms govern your use of the TestMaadu Smart Inspector Chrome extension and the website at which you are reading them (together, “TestMaadu”). TestMaadu is provided by Kaushik VM, an individual trading as TestMaadu, based in Bengaluru, India (“we”, “us”). By installing or using TestMaadu you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The service
TestMaadu lets you inspect elements on web pages and API calls made by a page, and generates automation test code (for example Playwright and Selenium) from what you select. Inspection and code generation run inside your browser. Some features need you to sign in with Google so that we can manage your trial and your access.
Free use, trial and lifetime access
- Free use: you can use TestMaadu for a short period without signing in.
- Trial: after that, signing in with Google starts a free trial. The lengths of both periods are shown in the extension and on our Pricing page, and may change for new users.
- Lifetime access: a one-time payment unlocks full, copyable generated code for the Google account you pay with. It is tied to that account and covers future updates to TestMaadu.
- When your free use or trial ends without payment, generated code is shown in part and copying is turned off.
- One free trial is available per person. We keep a hashed record of your email address so that deleting and re-creating an account does not start a second trial.
Payment, price and taxes
The price and currency are shown before you pay. Payment is taken by a third-party payment provider under its own terms, and we do not receive your full card or bank details. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout where they apply. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use TestMaadu for your own work, including commercial work. The code TestMaadu generates for you is yours to use, change and share as part of your own projects.
You must not resell, sublicense or share your account or access with others, copy or redistribute the extension, or try to bypass, disable or tamper with its access checks.
Acceptable use
- Use TestMaadu only on websites and APIs that you own or are authorised to test.
- Do not use it to attack, overload or gain unauthorised access to any system, or to break the law.
- You are responsible for the data you capture and for keeping secrets such as tokens and cookies out of code you share. TestMaadu writes secrets as environment-variable references by default, but you choose what to include.
Privacy
How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short, pages and API data you inspect stay in your browser.
Updates, availability and what “lifetime” means
We improve TestMaadu over time and may change or remove features. “Lifetime” means for as long as we offer TestMaadu. If we ever stop offering it, we will give at least 30 days’ notice in the extension and on this website. TestMaadu depends on Google Chrome and on third-party services, and we cannot promise it will always be available without interruption.
Third-party services and trademarks
TestMaadu works with Google Chrome and uses Google sign-in and Supabase. Playwright, Selenium, Google, Chrome and other names are trademarks of their owners. TestMaadu is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
No warranty
TestMaadu is provided “as is”. Generated code is a starting point built from what the page and the request show. Review it and adjust it before relying on it in your tests, because pages and APIs change and not every case can be detected.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of TestMaadu, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for TestMaadu in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in the extension and uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by sharing your account or abusing refunds, and we will tell you why where we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction, without limiting any rights you have as a consumer to bring a claim in the courts of your own country where the law gives you that right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, tell you in the extension. If you keep using TestMaadu after a change, you accept the updated terms. A purchase is governed by the terms in force when you bought.
